The procedure for deactivating an Instagram account is outlined in this article. We’ll begin immediately. So whether you’re on an Android or iOS device, the procedure is the same.
Firstly, you must be connected to the internet. Once you are connected to the internet, open your Instagram app.
To begin, go to your profile page and Tap on these three lines (see image bellow) at the top right of the screen.
swipe down to the Settings menu. Tap on Help (3 dots> Help) and wait for the page to load. From here, click on ‘Help Center’ and wait for the page to load.
When the Help Center page loads, then click ‘managing your account‘. On this page, you’ll be able to deactivate your Instagram account temporarily. Or if you want to delete your account, by following the same process.
In the next page, You may delete your Instagram account by tapping on the Delete Account button button. You may temporarily deactivate your account by tapping on the temporarily deactivate Account button.
You can see Temporary account deactivation here. Here, you must enter the password for your account, then click Temporary account deactivation.
